Alternate Realities-A Different Perspective on Domectic Violence.

The three vignettes illustrating several specific realities of domestic violence, launched in October 2008 in their original French version, are now available with English subtitles.

These vignettes were conceived for psychosocial intervention workers, workers within the legal system, healthcare workers and police officers. These vignettes aim at shedding light on various factors of vulnerability experienced by certain populations living a situation of domestic violence. Their social isolation, the issues related to their requests for assistance and the strategies that can be used during intervention are also illustrated.

The English subtitles will render these sensitization tools accessible to Englishspeaking workers in Quebec, in Canada as well as elsewhere.
